SILHOUETTE SOFT® is a technological innovation offering women what no treatment has ever provided in such a simple way: a redefined face, restored volume and reduced wrinkles by means of a 30-minute treatment at their doctor’s, for a result lasting up to 18 month.
SILHOUETTE SOFT® comes in the form of bidirectional absorbable thread cones. It is made in the United States and its development is based on six years of experience in suture suspension with cones used in reconstructive surgery and cosmetic surgery.
What about the process?
The procedure can be carried out in just thirty minutes, under local anesthetic, at
the doctor’s practice. The treatment should be administered by a physician trained on Silhouette Soft sutures. One or more sutures can be necessary according to the area to be treated.
SILHOUETTE SOFT® can be used as a stand-alone treatment or in conjunction with fillers and botulinum toxin.

What is AQUALYX?
Aqualyx® is a compound solution from the deoxycholate family that has been physically modified and, by creating a slow release sugar-based system, the biological half-life is reduced which results in minimal side effects.
Developed by renowned aesthetic surgeon the late Professor Motolese, Aqualyx® has been available internationally since 2009, and over 2,000,000 vials have been used for patient treatments in 49 countries worldwide.
The treatment
The treatment should only be performed by a doctor or surgeon. Specially designed long flexible cannulas are used, and specialist training is given to every doctor before they offer Aqualysis™.
Typically, two injection spots are required for each area being treated; patients report good tolerance of the treatment and an anaesthetic solution is normally added prior to injection for greater comfort.
The treatment will be repeated between two and eight times depending on the number of small pockets of fat tissue to be reduced. The injections are repeated every three to four weeks.
After each treatment patients can expect some swelling, redness and skin irritation and tenderness in the area treated, which will subside after four to six days.
What is Aqualyx® used for?
It used for Aqualysis or Aquaplasty treatment to reduce localised, stubborn fat deposits in areas such as the chin, stomach, outer and inner thighs, hips, knees etc.
How quickly will I see results?
A reduction in fat deposits can be seen after just one treatment, however between three and eight sessions are required to see the optimal effect. The speed at which results are seen will vary depending on the stability of the cell membranes; younger patients are more likely to results after a longer period.
Who is the treatment suitable for?
It is suitable for patients who do not want the more invasive liposuction or laser lipo treatments, who do not have large amounts of fat to remove and who are over 18 years and under 60 years of age. The treatment is not suitable for pregnant or lactating women or those with a pathological condition.
